Quality After School Care
Casuarina Street Out-of-School-Hours-Care (OSHC) is located inside Katherine East Primary School in Katherine, NT. The Centre is licensed for up to 60 children.
At Kentish OSHC, we tailor every program to the likes and interests of each child in the service. Our educators are qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care who are also working in the Kentish Early Learning Centre Big Rivers next door to this OSHC. Therefore, our OSHC will create a seamless experience and familiarity to your children as they move from the childcare centre to the after school care.
Kentish OSHC is designed to support working parents by offering care for the children outside regular school hours. We operate after-school hours and during vacation periods. Child Care Subsidy is available for children enrolled in our OSHC.

Activities and Services:
- Supervision: Qualified staff supervise children during OSHC hours.
Homework Assistance: Children receive help with homework and study tasks. - Recreation and Play: OSHC programs include recreational activities, games, and playtime.
- Nutrition: Snacks are provided.
- Social Interaction: Children have the opportunity to interact with peers and build social skills.
- Vacation Care: Incursions and excursion for children during school holidays to fill their days with positive and engaging activities
